The core of this vision may be captured with the slogan: "growth while
maintaining nature and culture". Development is predicated upon the
philosophy that Bonaire's economic growth must be controlled,
sustainable and quality balanced. with significant benefits for the
Bonairean population, and respecting Bonaire's nature, culture and
identity.
